all aspects of the BBC appeal to different target audiences. For example, BBC radio 1 appeals to a primary audience of 15-29 year olds whereas BBC radio 2 is aimed at boomers rather than the millennials. BBC iPlayer appeals to a range of audiences depending on the shows featured on there and whether or not the audience has the technology to be able to access it.

The purpose being to inform, entertain and educate overall is obvious that they fit into the separate programmes the BBC offer. The news provides the information and through the BBC News, the radio then people are educated through the news, also. Lastly, the audience are entertained through the TV and music on the radio and iPlayer.

- For BBC Radio aiming their target audience at the 15-29 year olds, they tag and include mainstream pop artists including hashtags to become a trending page.
- they use exclamatory sentences with hyperbole's which attracts the audience as they believe the over exaggeration
- they incorporate emojis for added relation to the young generation
