marketing and production
Rosie: Hello and welcome back to the graham norton show, I’m Rosie filling in for graham while he is relaxing on the sunny beaches of Barbados and today we are joined with the marketing manager and John Favreu, the Producer of the jungle book.
Rosie: So, John congratulations on the success of the jungle book
Lily: Thanks rosie, were all very impressed with the film making 103 million dollars at the box office
Rosie: Well all that time using cgi was worth it, what else did you use to create that magnificent jungle of yours?
Lily: of course most of the work is down to a green screen and cgi but we also used small pieces of prop to help Sethi imagine what its like to be in the jungle,
Lily: But I don’t have to worry about that because im only directing the real actor here hahahah
Rosie: What other techniques did you use?
Lily: We used pre visualisation techniques pioneered by movies like avatar and gravity where the films look like camera moves, set designs and motion- captures were sketches out beforehand and created before the film even began

Tilly: well, rosie, when thinking about this film we wanted to appeal to a wider range of ages from 12-21 unlike the original jungle book that was only made for young children so we decided to alter the plot so the film is darker and more authentic to the book.
rosie: So now over to you Tilly hahahah you are the marketing manager yes?
Tilly: yes, I’m working behind the scenes trying to reach as large as an audience as I can.
Rosie: I’ve hear of some quite large collaborations for the jungle books release is this true?
Tilly: yes, I’m glad to say were using synergy with kenzo to create a new collection of t-shirts and jumpers authentic to the new and old jungle book. We also worked with
